Thoracic Surgeon

Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Thoracic Surgeon to join an established and growing private practice in Palm Beach County, Florida. This full-time opportunity features a collegial environment with strong referral support, mentorship for early-career surgeons, and access to advanced surgical technology. The incoming physician will focus on comprehensive thoracic surgery while helping to grow and shape the service line.

Practice Info

• Well-established private practice with an expanding thoracic surgery program
• Primarily practice at Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center, with additional cases and coverage at Delray Medical Center
• Access to advanced surgical technology and multidisciplinary support teams
• Strong referral network from pulmonologists, oncologists, gastroenterologists, and primary care providers

Responsibilities

• Focus on comprehensive thoracic surgery including lung cancer and pulmonary disease surgery, esophageal surgery, mediastinal procedures, and minimally invasive thoracic surgery techniques including VATS and robotic-assisted procedures
• Help grow and shape the thoracic surgery service line

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Thoracic Surgery
• Eligible for Florida medical licensure
