In-person position during the school day.

• Part-time
• Minimum weekly commitment: 1 hour per day to start. Additional two 5‑hour days added on (total 11+ hours weekly).
• Primary shift: 10 hours per week, 2 days (Tues/Thurs or Tues/Fri) for 5 hours each, based on availability and preference.
• Flexibility:
  Ability to work 5+ additional hours per week when combined with virtual opportunities as needs arise.

• $30 per hour, based on experience and other factors.

• Work as a tutor supporting Kindergarten‑5th grade students in ELA and Math.
• Support students in special education with IEPs.
• Provide small‑group tutoring sessions using the provided curriculum and learning technology.
• Manage classroom dynamics to ensure a conducive learning environment.
• Adapt teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.

• A teaching credential issued by the state of Florida and a bachelor's degree with a Statement of Eligibility from the Florida Department of Education (ESE Certificate).
• Classroom experience teaching or supporting reading instruction.
• Experience with special education students.
• Experience using the Science of Reading, or willingness to be trained in this.
• Ability to complete fingerprinting within 48 hours of an offer.
• Pass FBI/DOJ background check.
• Provide three professional references.
• Detail-oriented and highly dependable.
• Effective communicator.
• Reliable transportation.
• Provide a negative tuberculosis test within 2 weeks of being hired.
• Love learning, teaching, and empowering others to soar.
