As a Kindergarten Teacher, you will create and implement a flexible program and classroom environment favorable to student learning and personal growth, develop lesson plans consistent with established guidelines, establish effective rapport with students, staff members, and parents, and motivate students to develop skills, attitudes, and knowledge that provide an effective educational foundation in accordance with each student’s ability.

- Plan and implement a program of instruction that adheres to the company's philosophy, goals, and objectives as outlined in the adopted courses of study.
- Create purposeful lesson plans that maximize teaching strategies and time on task.
- Present subject matter to students to maximize learning opportunity and provide real‑world, application‑based examples.
- Review student records to understand each student’s abilities and needs, maintaining accurate and complete records.
- Strive to maximize each student’s educational achievement.
- Utilize a variety of student learning modalities, differentiated instruction, and diagnostic assessments on a frequent basis.
- Asses strengths and weaknesses, provide appropriate activities, and generate progress reports as required.
- Refer students with suspected learning problems to appropriate support personnel.
- Assign lessons, correct work, and review oral presentations.
- Coordinate class field trips as required.
- Prepare students for state‑required achievement assessments.
- Stay current in subject matter knowledge and learning theory, and share this knowledge to continually improve the curriculum.
- Assist in ongoing curriculum revision, including written courses of study.
- Assist in selecting books, equipment, and other instructional materials.
- Become acquainted with supplemental services beneficial to students as an extension of regular classroom activities.
- Create a learning environment that reflects the maturity and interests of students.
- Maintain positive rapport with students, demonstrating patience and nurturing growth.
- Ensure the classroom is clean, safe, and showcases student‑generated work.
- Implement all relevant student conduct policies.
- Develop reasonable rules of classroom/playground behavior in accordance with CSUSA policy and guidelines, maintaining order fairly and consistently.
- Develop lesson plans consistent with established guidelines and goals.
- Plan individual and group learning activities to meet instructional objectives and student needs.
- Prepare for classes and show evidence of preparation upon request of supervisory personnel.
- Participate with other staff members in curriculum planning during designated meetings.
- Incorporate diagnostic information as required in the student’s Individual Education Plan (IEP).
- Takes all necessary and reasonable precautions to protect supplies, equipment, materials, and facilities needed to implement the instructional program effectively.
