Job DescriptionL3 Harris Aerojet Rocketdyne is seeking a Lead, Program Scheduler to join the trusted disrupter on Hypersonic and Space programs. As a Lead, Program Scheduler, you will interface with all elements of the program team to develop and support regular maintenance of the program integrated master schedule (IMS). This individual will ensure major projects and program schedules are integrated across company functional groups including finance, engineering, material, manufacturing, and quality.
EssentialFunctions
- Be responsible for the end-to-end life‑cycle of planning and schedule management
- Serve as the point of contact for internal and external customer communication and status
- Be responsible for oversight of performance to program budgets and communicating necessary adjustments to responsible Cost Account Managers
- Develop integrated master schedules using SOW and WBS
- Perform time‑phased analyses, critical path verification and schedule risk assessments to assure the capability of the program to meet its commitments
- Resolve schedule conflicts, develop and implement work‑around strategies and tactical alternatives
- Perform regular analysis of program schedules to evaluate program and enterprise‑wide resource needs through the integration of all program schedules
- Ability to travel up to 25%
- Active DoD Secret clearance or higher
- Bachelor's Degree and a minimum 9 years of prior experience in planning or program management. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience
- 8+ years of experience in planning or program management related discipline
- Experience creating and/or maintaining an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and any Supporting Schedules on assigned projects/programs
- Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) including Cost or Schedule Integration
- Experience in maintaining schedules across product life cycle, including critical path analysis and schedule risk analysis
- Experience in MS Project and Milestones Professional
- Knowledge of engineering processes, principles, and practices; knowledge of risk management concepts and risk analysis related to master schedules
- Knowledge of DoD EVMS Guidelines (ANSI‑748C), Integrated Product and Process Development (IPPD), and Integrated Program Management Report (IPMR)
- Team building skills and influencing and relationship management skills
