Party Chief
The Survey Crew Chief supervises and participates in technical survey engineering work, overseeing a field crew and ensuring accurate and efficient execution of various survey types including boundary, topographic, ALTA/ACSM, and construction surveys. This role requires planning and organizing daily field activities, training staff, maintaining equipment, and ensuring safety compliance. The Crew Chief is responsible for field calculations, data collection, and reporting project status to office staff.

Skills & Qualifications
- Familiarity with PMI policies and procedures.
- Experience with specific data collectors or instruments.
- Knowledge of traffic control safety standards.
- Proficiency with Total station, Topcon, Trimble GPS, and AutoCAD.
- Knowledge of surveying principles, equipment, and techniques.
Ability to perform algebra, geometry, and trigonometry calculations. - Experience interpreting construction plans and legal documents.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Must be 18 years of age.
This role involves outdoor fieldwork in varying weather and terrain conditions. There will be exposure to construction sites, wildlife, and plant materials. The job requires frequent lifting of 25 lbs and regular lifting up to 50 lbs. Travel up to 20% outside the area, including overnight and weekend stays, is necessary. A valid driver’s license and ability to obtain DBIDS or Rapid Gate Pass are required.
Steel toe boots are mandatory.
This is a Permanent position based out of West Palm Beach, FL.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $66560.00 - $72800.00/yr.
