Entry‑Level Water/Wastewater Engineer – Networking Event with AECOM – Coral Gables, FL
Join us for AECOM’s exclusive, invitation‑only hiring event in Coral Gables on January 15‑16, 2026. This is a unique opportunity to network with AECOM staff, learn about early‑career positions starting Spring/Summer 2026, and participate in on‑site interviews at our Coral Gables office.

Responsibilities- Perform engineering assignments that apply standard techniques, procedures and criteria, fostering professional and ethical judgment.
- Exercise judgment limited to detailing work, making preliminary selections and adapting engineering alternatives.
- Prepare engineering‑related calculations, drawings and visual aids.
- Develop design drawings, plans, sections, details, and profiles/sections in Autodesk Civil 3D and AutoCAD MEP.
- Work under the supervision of a project manager or senior team member.
- Conduct water/wastewater treatment evaluation and design.
- Evaluate and design pump stations.
- Model, analyze and design water distribution hydraulic systems.
- Evaluate and design sewer collection systems.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Engineer‑in‑Training (EIT) or Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) certification.
- Master’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering with a focus on water/wastewater coursework.
- GIS and CAD skills.
- Proficiency with spreadsheets, word processing and standard office software.
- Attention to detail while understanding the big‑picture goals of a project.
- Ability to multitask.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Relocation assistance is not available for this position.
- US employment‑authorization sponsorship is not available now or in the future for this position.
Salary range: $70,000 – $85,000 per year, based on education, qualifications, experience and work location.
