CAD Detailer - Fabrication - Base Salary to $75k/year - West Palm Beach, FL

• All Search Recruiting is seeking a CAD Detailer for a specialized firm focused on miscellaneous and architectural metals for a wide range of commercial projects. The CAD Detailer will be responsible for the design and fabrication of steel pan stairs, protective canopies, and an array of other custom miscellaneous components that enhance structural integrity and aesthetic appeal in commercial settings

• Create accurate CAD-based drawings essential for project submittals and fabrication processes.
• Generate precise models and drawings using industry-standard software such as AutoCAD and Tekla that align with project requirements.
• Collaborate closely with Project Managers to produce high-quality drawings within designated timelines, involving clear communication, iterative feedback, and proactive problem-solving to address design challenges.
• Ensure drawings are practical, feasible, and optimized for manufacturing efficiency by applying knowledge of metal fabrication processes and component integration/assembly for steel and aluminum structures.
• Use the Microsoft Office suite for documentation, reporting, and coordination tasks related to drawing submittals and project tracking.
• Manage time effectively to handle tight schedules and meet strict deadlines without compromising quality.
• Maintain meticulous attention to detail to ensure the safety, functionality, and compliance of final metal components.

• 2+ years of hands‑on experience in detailing miscellaneous or structural steel elements.
• Proficiency in industry‑standard software such as AutoCAD and Tekla.
• Solid understanding of metal fabrication techniques, including how various components integrate and assemble in steel and aluminum structures.
• Strong ability to collaborate effectively with Project Managers.
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
• Demonstrated capability to manage time, adhere to deadlines, and work under tight schedules.
• Exceptional attention to detail and precision.
