About the job Professional Registered Land Surveyor

With deep industry roots and a forward-thinking approach, they specialize in utilizing cutting-edge technologies such as GPS, electronic total stations, and advanced CADD mapping software to deliver high-quality, on-time surveying services.
Having established a strong reputation for delivering adaptable solutions and fostering lasting client relationships, they are looking to add a motivated Registered Professional Land Surveyor to the team.
As a Signing Surveyor, you will be responsible for reviewing and certifying boundary, topographic, ALTA/NSPS, and construction surveys in compliance with Florida survey standards. You will also collaborate closely with field crews and CAD staff to ensure that all work meets legal and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Review and sign boundary surveys, elevation certificates, ALTA/NSPS surveys, and related deliverables
- Verify data accuracy and CAD drawings prior to certification
- Mentor field and office staff, providing technical oversight
- Communicate with clients, engineers, and local agencies
- Ensure compliance with Florida Board of Professional Surveyors & Mappers standards
- Perform quality control and maintain clear documentation
Requirements:
- 10+ years of surveying experience (South Florida preferred)
- Expert knowledge of Florida surveying laws and standards
- Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D and field data collection workflows
- Detail-oriented with strong professional accountability
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
Salary & Benefits:
- Salary $100,000 - $125,000 per annum depending on experience
