Electrical & Instrument Apprentice​/Co-op

Under general maintenance supervision, the
** Electrical & Instrument Apprentice/Co-op
** is responsible for the safe, environmentally sound, and efficient daily operation of the facility. This individual will assist in basic electrical and electronic work in the maintenance of motors, control centers, and electrical fixtures in support of the entire facility operation. Also responsible for maintaining operation of the entire plant in compliance with established production schedules and plant requirements, in conjunction with National and Local Electrical Codes.

* Position Responsibilities:

** - Entry level knowledge of instrumentation and PLC’s is necessary for troubleshooting control circuits; DCS exposure will also be helpful.

- The ability to operate various hand and electric tools.

- Knowledge but not limited to Pipe Thread Machine, Grinder, Drill press, Ban Saw and other Machine and Fabrication shop common equipment.

Requirements & Qualifications:

**- Minimum of High school education or equivalent
- Windows based PC knowledge including Word, Excel, and Power Point.
** Physical Demands of the Role:**- Ability to walk, stand, sit, and climb.

- Ability to lift/carry 50lbs.

- Ability to work from heights and in confined spaces.
