Senior Associate, Federal Tax (Private Client Services)

• Assist with providing tax and consulting services to high net worth individuals in the areas of individual income tax, wealth transfer and succession planning, and international tax
• Assist with tax compliance for individual tax clients working proficiently with specific tax forms 1040, 1041, 709, and FinCEN 114
• Support a multidisciplinary team, assisting with tax‑planning responsibilities for individual clients
• Identify, research, and provide analysis on a wide range of complex tax issues
• Attend client calls to understand critical areas of importance and apply tax technical knowledge
• Create concise deliverables that address client expectations
• Mentor Associates on projects and best practices
• Build client relationships and demonstrate work knowledge of client business
• Identify opportunities to provide additional services to existing clients
• Build internal relationships with the Federal Tax team and the broader A&M firm
• Value diversity of perspectives and create opportunities for individuals to feel comfortable contributing
• Assist with business development, including creating resources and proposal materials

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• 2+ years of relevant experience
• CPA or Licensed Attorney (or in process of pursuing)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills
• Experience with all Microsoft Office products (emphasis on Excel)
• Experience with GoSystems, One Source, and research software preferred
• Ability to simultaneously work on several projects and manage deadlines
• High motivation to learn and grow
• Detail‑oriented and possess strong organizational skills
