About the Opportunity

We are seeking a Private Equity Associate to join a growing, lower-middle-market private equity investment firm in West Palm Beach, FL.

This opportunity offers hands-on exposure to the full investment lifecycle, from identifying and evaluating acquisition opportunities to executing transactions and supporting portfolio company growth.

The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in financial modeling, M&A, and investment analysis and is looking to build a long-term career in private equity.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate potential acquisition opportunities through financial analysis, valuation, and due diligence.
• Build and maintain financial models, including three-statement models, LBOs, and transaction valuations.
• Support all stages of the M&A process, from initial screening through transaction closing.
• Prepare investment memorandums, presentations, and materials for investment committee discussions.
• Conduct industry research, market mapping, and acquisition target identification.
• Collaborate with senior investment professionals, management teams, and external advisors.
• Monitor portfolio company performance and support strategic growth initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Approximately 1–3 years of relevant experience in investment banking, private equity, M&A advisory, or corporate development.
• Strong financial modeling skills, particularly three-statement modeling, LBO analysis, and valuation.
• Understanding of M&A transactions, due diligence, and investment evaluation.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a lean, entrepreneurial environment.
