We are seeking a Clinical Nutrition Manager to lead our Nutrition Team in an acute care setting in West Palm Beach, FL.
Key Responsibilities- Establish goals and oversee implementation of clinical nutrition care based on the facility’s medical direction and patient population
- Assess nutritional status of patients/residents through medical record documentation
- Hires, leads, directs, coaches, trains, and develops nutrition team members
- Trains and mentors patient/resident services staff and interns as applicable
- Foster teamwork and implement innovative programs for optimal clinical nutrition and financial outcomes
- Monitor competency, productivity, and documentation accuracy of clinical staff
- Assigns and directs workload of clinical nutrition staff; participate in staffing analysis with Regional Clinical Nutrition Manager and Director
- Comply with regulatory standards (federal, state, accrediting agencies) while adhering to HIPAA and patient rights policies
- Participate in/Lead patient/resident satisfaction programs, departmental meetings, and facility-wide QA/PI programs
- Credentialed as a Registered Dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
- Licensed by the State Dietetics Licensing Board, where required
- Two (2) years of experience in acute care;
Three (3) years in senior living, as a Registered Dietitian - Specialty certification when applicable
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, electronic medical record/diet office systems, and nutrient analysis software
