School-Based Therapist - Bilingual Spanish

Behavioral Health Services is seeking a full time co-located therapist to provide effective therapeutic services to students attending a school under the Palm Beach County School District (PBCSD), and their parents/caretakers inside the school setting. The objective is to assess and provide solution focused treatment to youth and families referred for behavioral and/or mental health challenges.

Qualifications include:

• Licensed Clinical Social Worker or related degree (LMHC, LMFT) or Registered Interns in any of the fields actively seeking licensure;
• Experience in utilizing various clinical modalities;
• Therapeutic approaches that include assessments, utilization of the DSM, formulating clinical impressions, formulating treatment plans and goals;
• Comprehensive and strong clinical foundation in child and adolescent psychotherapy, trauma;

Preferred experience includes:

• Three years’ in a clinical setting with children/students and families
• Knowledge of and sensitivity to service populations, cultural and socioeconomic diverse populations;
• Experience participating in team meetings and case consultations with referral sources, including clinical, school and DJJ teams;
• Ability to work hours of 8:00am-5:00pm with flexibility of being available after-hours;
• Work as a team member of a community-based agency as well as with community partners.

Pay: $50,000.00 – $55,000.00 per year
