Primary Therapist

Base pay range: $45,000 - $80,000 per year.

Actual compensation will be based on experience and qualifications.

• Responsible for patient caseload and will provide substance abuse and mental health counseling in the form of group, individual, and family therapy.
• Group therapies include but are not limited to educational groups, didactic, and experiential.
• Conduct pertinent assessments such as biopsychosocial and develop a multifaceted treatment plan with measurable and short-term attainable goals.
• Maintain communication with client’s collateral support such as the family and the referral source.
• Meet clinical documentation requirements on time such as clinical progress notes, treatment planning, and all other clinical documentation per standards set forth by entities such as DCF.

• LMHC or LCSW Preferred.
• Master’s Degree in social work, psychology or related human services field.
• Two years of work experience in mental health field.
• Licensure to practice clinical discipline preferred.
• Demonstrates proficiency in communication and written skills.
• Knowledge of State and Federal statutes regarding patient confidentiality laws (HIPAA).
