Provides direct patient care and support within a behavioral health setting, working under the supervision of a nurse. Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, monitoring vital signs, reporting changes in patient behavior, participating in treatment planning, and ensuring patient safety. They also play a crucial role in creating a therapeutic environment and fostering positive patient interactions.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma/GED preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of start date.
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (CPI) required within 30 days of start date.
• Prior experience in a behavioral health or psychiatric setting is preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and observation skills are essential.
