Tree of Knowledge Learning Academy, a fast-growing, client and therapist-focused company is seeking a strong Speech Therapist to join our team!
Key responsibilities of a school speech pathologist include:- Direct Therapy Provision: Providing individual or small group therapy sessions to address identified speech and language goals using appropriate therapeutic techniques and materials.
- Classroom Consultation: Consulting with teachers to provide strategies and support for incorporating communication skills into the classroom curriculum and addressing student needs within the learning environment.
- Progress Monitoring and Evaluation: Regularly assessing student progress toward their IEP goals and making adjustments as needed.
- Parent Communication: Communicating with parents about their child's speech and language development, providing information on therapy strategies, and involving them in the treatment process.
- Required skills and qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- A current state license to practice speech pathology
- Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
- Strong assessment and diagnostic skills
