Computer Info Systems Manager I
Florida Department of Health's Information Technology unit, managing Help Desk and Desktop Support operations. The role requires independent judgment to supervise technical staff, oversee end-user computing environments, manage IT infrastructure and disaster recovery planning, and ensure system security and compliance across multiple facilities. This internal-only position reports to the Data Center Director and requires extensive knowledge of healthcare systems including EHR, HMS, and laboratory platforms.
Keyqualifications
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and healthcare systems (Radiology, EHR, HMS, Laboratory)
- Ability to effectively communicate technical information and establish working relationships
- Experience with IT infrastructure management, Group Policy, SCCM, antivirus platforms, and backup systems
- Supervisory experience managing Tier 1-2 IT support staff and overseeing help desk operations
- Knowledge of disaster recovery planning and IT continuity of operations
- Ability to work independently, maintain confidentiality, and handle sensitive health information
