Associate Attorney

Associate Attorney at Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A.

This position offers flexibility (hybrid or remote), competitive salary, and a full benefits package. The ideal candidate will have 4–8 years of experience handling litigation matters related to medical malpractice, nursing home defense, auto accidents, and general liability. This is a great opportunity for an attorney with strong knowledge of medical records and hands‑on litigation experience from case inception through resolution.

• Independently manage a litigation caseload with a focus on medical‑related personal injury cases
• Conduct and defend depositions, including parties, experts, and medical professionals
• Prepare for and attend mediations, hearings, and motion practice
• Analyze medical records and prepare case evaluations
• Develop litigation strategies in collaboration with clients and partners
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and legal correspondence
• Communicate proactively with clients, insurance carriers, and opposing counsel

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
• Active member in good standing with the Florida Bar
• 4–8 years of experience in litigation (preferably medical malpractice, nursing home, or general liability)
• Strong understanding of Florida court rules and procedures
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proven ability to work both independently and within a collaborative team environment
