Our client, a well‑established personal injury law firm, is seeking a dedicated Pre‑Litigation Assistant to support its growing PI practice. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, organized, experienced in the personal injury pre‑litigation process, and will provide direct support to case managers and attorneys to ensure efficient file management and excellent client service.
Base pay range$60,000.00/yr - $70,000.00/yr
Responsibilities- Assist in managing a high‑volume caseload through all pre‑litigation phases.
- Gather, organize, and maintain medical records, bills, police reports, and supporting documentation.
- Communicate with clients to gather updates and provide case status.
- Draft correspondence, demands, and case summaries as instructed.
- Track treatment progress and schedule necessary evaluations or appointments.
- Request and negotiate medical balances and liens with providers.
- Ensure all case materials are complete and accurate prior to demand submission.
- Maintain deadlines, statute dates, and critical case milestones.
- Perform general administrative duties including data entry, scanning, file updates, and documentation review.
- 1‑3+ years of experience in personal injury pre‑litigation support (required).
- Strong understanding of PI workflow, medical terminology, and case documentation.
- Excellent communication and client‑service skills.
- High level of organization and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency with law firm case management software (e.g., Filevine, Smart Advocate, Trial Works, etc.).
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
