We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Litigation Associate Attorney to join our thriving legal team. The successful candidate will have a minimum of two years of commercial litigation experience.
Responsibilities- Conduct extensive legal research to support case preparation and legal proceedings.
- Draft pleadings, motions, memorandums, and briefs.
- Assist with discovery, including drafting and responding to discovery requests and assisting with depositions.
- Collaborate with colleagues to devise effective litigation strategies.
- Correspond and liaise directly with clients, opposing counsel and court personnel.
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial litigation.
- Membership in good standing with the Florida State Bar.
- Exceptional legal research skills.
- Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects.
- Proficiency with legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience in admiralty law preferred.
