Harris Technologies Company, is seeking a Senior Specialist, Facilities for our Jupiter, FL location. This role leads a facilities team (and contractors) supporting L3
Harris’ customer missions. Responsible for budget management, capital and asset management, maintenance and operations at the WPB site. Develops, manages, and tracks facility capital and operating expense budgets, and establishes long‑range strategic plans in support of business goals. Works as a back‑up to Facilities Engineers to oversee the planning and implementation of space allocation, furniture and equipment layouts, communication services and networking requirements, facilities’ compliance with building codes, guidelines, and regulations, preventative, routine and emergency repair and maintenance of all facilities and facilities support equipment.
May utilize a facilities maintenance management and work order system, coordinate with contractors and interfaces with external government agencies on facility matters. Jointly responsible for security, environmental, health, and safety standards within the facility.
- Establishes milestones, monitors adherence to master plans, budgets, and schedules. Identifies problems and develop solutions, such as allocation of resources or changing project scope.
- Acts as primary contact for facility, equipment, machinery maintenance, project activities, and leads capital project reviews for cost, schedule, and technical performance.
- Prepares periodic and special reports related to taxes, rentals and leasing, insurance, facility usage, etc.
- Sets priorities, performs forecasting, and allocates the resources needed to complete all preventive and corrective maintenance tasks.
- Reconciles credit card payments, updates capital expenditures, time phasing and provides status updates.
- Provide updates to overhead expenditures from multiple operations departments, transact receiving invoices and billing, process check requests and deposits.
- Manage property assets, manage licenses, permits, and vehicle registrations.
- Conducts property audits, develops, recommends, and implements property administration policies. Provides guidance on company policy and government regulations pertaining to property accountability.
- Ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance.
- Requires strong knowledge of facilities, finance/accounting and project management. A Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance or Engineering and minimum of 6 years of prior relevant facilities experience; OR a Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience; OR in lieu of a degree, a minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.
- Comprehensive knowledge and skills within a specific technical or professional discipline and may have broad understanding of other areas within the job function.
- Communicates within and outside of own function or business area with management, contractors and customers. Able to explain, interpret policies, procedures and practices.
