SUMMARY

Hydraulic Supply Company (HSC), a division of Motion, is seeking a Build Shop Technician in West Palm Beach, Florida to work in our Build Shop facility assembling hydraulic and electric assemblies for our customers. This is an entry level opportunity for a motivated and talented candidate to grow with a great team and a very successful company.

• Build customer assemblies
• Operate Test Stand for functional tests as required
• Receive and put away inventory
• Prepare orders for shipment (packing, palletizing, etc.)
• Interact with computer system to generate inventory pick lists, process orders, and manage upcoming orders

Typically requires a high school diploma or GED.

• Mechanical aptitude
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
• Attention to detail
• Fluid power experience a plus
• Work consists of standing at a workbench most of the day
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Familiarity with common office software applications (Outlook, Word, etc.)
• Willingness to learn and develop new skills as required

Requires manual dexterity, arm-hand steadiness and multi-limb coordination. Ability to handle material up to 100 pounds.
