Missions Site Leader

The Missions Site Leader will work with the Missions & Outreach Manager and the missions department to develop and build relationships with children, parents, and community members.

• Bringing the Gospel to the missions site through love and time
• Providing time and opportunity for relationships at the missions site to build and be established through onsite programming, events, prayer walks, field trips, and intentional interactions with families
• Developing relationships with families regarding students' needs and progress
• Leading a variety of outreach activities for youth, including arts and crafts, recreation time, team building games, educational games, free time activities, life skills, and bible lessons
• Designing and facilitating activities for the community, such as holiday gatherings and community-wide events, and working with the Missions Manager to provide opportunities for classes and studies (parenting, Bible, life skills, etc.)
• Developing and executing proper lesson plans and schedules for programs
• Ensuring the safety of students, volunteers, and staff by following all missions department and Urban Youth Impact policies & procedures
• Ensuring volunteers are properly utilized and valued
• Communicating well with the Missions & Outreach Manager about the missions site, the site families, and all Urban Youth Impact programming within the site
• Developing relationships in the community that can be used to assist with student recruitment and organizational partnerships
• Referring families to other programs and services as needed
• Maintaining attendance numbers and submitting them on time
• Attending program related meetings, conferences and workshops
• Managing and maintaining all administrative tasks required by the missions site, Missions Manager, and Urban Youth Impact
• Gathering the missions site data necessary for monthly, quarterly and annual reports
• Providing transportation to and from field trip activities

• 2‑year degree or equivalent experience working with inner‑city youth
• Full‑time commitment (30 hours per week), FLSA non‑exempt
• All applicants will be required to complete a Level‑2 background check
