Nurse Extern Opportunity – Day Shift (Per Diem Day Shift Position).

• High school graduate with ability to read, write, and working knowledge of medical terminology.
• Strong communication skills to relate to staff and patients.
• Current American Heart Association BLS Certification.
• Enrollment in a professional nursing education program for one year.
• Letter of recommendation from a faculty member of the school in attendance.

The Nurse Extern is a student enrolled in a professional nursing education program who wishes to acquire experiential learning opportunities to practice skills learned in their academic program under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse.
