Cleans resident apartments, public bathrooms, offices, halls, trash rooms, stairways, elevators, and other areas by performing the following duties.
How You'll Make an Impact:
- Disinfects equipment and supplies and keeps utility and storage rooms in clean and orderly condition.
- Maintains cleaning equipment in proper working condition and reports on equipment and/or furniture in need of repair.
- Cleans unoccupied apartments thoroughly; performs duties such as mopping floors, vacuuming; cleans and washes washroom fixtures; cleans mirrors and inside windows.
- Cleans occupied residents' rooms including vacuuming and mopping and maintaining resident kitchens, bathrooms, and balcony in a clean, safe, and orderly condition.
- Cleans other areas such as offices, workrooms, lobbies, classrooms, laundry room, and restrooms if assigned.
- Dusts resident furniture, woodwork, door panels, and sills.
- Cleans rugs and carpets. Dust mops and wet mops floors: vacuums carpets and rugs.
- Empties wastebaskets. Transports trash and waste to disposal area.
- Ability to manage time effectively and reprioritize assigned tasks as needed within one hour.
- Attends in-service programs and meetings as required.
What You'll Bring:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED): or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
- None required.
