Barista

We are seeking a passionate and customer-focused Barista to join our team! The ideal candidate will love coffee, possess excellent customer service skills, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide personalized service to all guests.
• Maintain cleanliness of appliances and counter space, wipe spills, and remove trash.
• Be personable and able to meet the public.
• Have cashier experience and basic computer knowledge.
• Count money proactively before shifts to prevent miscalculations.
• Greet and welcome customers.
• Address customer complaints or escalate to management.
• Record bills, expenses, and transactions accurately in cash registers or computers.
• Inform customers about payment options: cash, check, credit card, and debit card.
• Stock shelves and monitor stock levels.
• Handle money, currencies, and coins accurately.
• Perform repetitive tasks without errors and maintain transaction records.
• Maintain a professional appearance and dress neatly.
• Possess multilingual skills to serve diverse customers (preferred).
• Demonstrate integrity, honesty, and accountability.
• Work varied hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Read and write proficiently.

• 2+ years of barista or coffee shop experience preferred.
• Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and espresso machines.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure.
• Flexible to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
• Passion for coffee and hospitality with a positive attitude.
