Job Overview

Prepare and serve beverages with accuracy, care, and genuine hospitality while creating welcoming, engaging experiences for guests. The Bartender is a hands-on service role responsible for cocktail execution, beverage knowledge, and maintaining an inviting bar environment. This role requires attentiveness, efficiency, and pride in delivering thoughtful hospitality at every interaction.

Responsibilities
  • Showcase an inherent desire to take care of others.
  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately, consistently, and in accordance with recipes and service standards.
  • Engage guests warmly, guiding them through beverage offerings and providing thoughtful recommendations.
  • Maintain strong awareness of the bar area, anticipating guest needs and responding promptly throughout service.
  • Accurately enter orders, process payments, and follow all cash-handling and POS procedures.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar, including workstations, glassware, tools, and storage areas.
  • Follow all safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service guidelines in compliance with company standards and local regulations.
  • Restock bar supplies, garnish stations, and glassware to ensure service readiness.
  • Communicate effectively with associates and leadership to support smooth service execution.
  • Assist with opening and closing duties as assigned.
  • Support restaurant operations during peak service periods with urgency and teamwork.
  • Maintains a friendly, cheerful, and courteous demeanor at all times.
  • Exhibits a kind, welcoming, detail-oriented approach with a strong sense of urgency.
Qualifications

Education/Formal Training

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

  • Previous bartending or hospitality experience preferred.
  • Must meet state and federal minimum age requirements for serving alcohol.

Knowledge/Skills

  • Knowledge of bar service, beverage preparation, and hospitality standards.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with guests and associates.
  • Ability to read and follow recipes, tickets, and service instructions.
  • Manual coordination to operate bar equipment, handle glassware, and prepare beverages efficiently.
