As a Screener supporting a government location, you will operate screening equipment, inspect individuals and property, monitor access points, and report suspicious activity. ** What You'll Do:*
* + Screen visitors, employees, contractors, and/or deliveries entering a government law-enforcement facility in accordance with site-specific procedures.

+ Operate screening equipment and conduct access-control checks to identify prohibited items and help maintain an orderly entry process.

+ Verify identification, credentials, appointments, and/or visitor authorizations; provide directions and customer service to the public.

+ Respond to screening alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as directed.

+ Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and other documentation while following applicable policies and procedures.

* Minimum Requirements:

*
* + Possess at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or 7 years of security-related experience or a college degreein criminal justice

+ X-Ray screening experience is preferred.

+ Guard card is required.

+ CPR certification is preferred.

+ A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 21+ years of age for role.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
