** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to visitors, employees, contractors, and members of the public while carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a government location.

+ Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and authorization credentials, maintain visitor logs, and issue or recover access badges in accordance with established procedures.

+ Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel as directed.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned government facilities, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized access attempts.

+ Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and required access-control records while communicating professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership.

* Minimum Requirements:

*
* + Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or 5 years of security-related experience or a college degree in criminal justice.

+ Possess an Armed Guard Card/License.

+ A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ CPR Certification is preferred.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
