Drywall Foreman – WPB

Lotspeich Co. of FL, Inc. is seeking qualified Drywall Foremen in the South Florida area.

• Minimum of three years' experience in the Installation and Supervision of Metal Framing & Drywall
• Managing field staff to ensure quality and productivity on projects
• Adherence to and responsibility for company safety program
• Ability to read blueprints (layout preferred, but not required)

• Must be able to read/understand blueprints and the job field kit.
• Foreman must coordinate with other trades and the GC to maintain the project schedule.
• Build and maintain project labor to complete the project schedule.
• Lay out the project.
• Order necessary materials from the purchasing agent.
• Hold on-site meetings with subcontractors and in-house labor.
• Keep all necessary job records required by Lotspeich and the customer.
• Verify quantities and hours for labor payment.
• Maintain a working relationship with other foremen/superintendents of the customer and subcontractors.
• Document changes and send field RFIs.
• Resourceful and self-reliant to overcome job site obstacles.
• Hold OSHA certification for using equipment (boom and scissor lift) or tools.
• Act as a “competent person” for inspecting scaffolds (OSHA certified).
• Have taken the OSHA 10‑hour safety course.

Directly supervises field employees in the Interior Department, including interviewing, hiring, training, planning, appraising performance, and resolving complaints in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.
