Maintenance Technician

Overview

Maintenance Technician at National Car Rental, located at 1805 Belvedere Road, West Palm Beach, FL 33406. Pay starts at $17.50/hour for a 40‑hour workweek.

Work schedule:

Monday–Friday 8:00 am–4:30 pm;
Saturday and Sunday off.

• Perform comprehensive vehicle maintenance inspections including tires, brakes, and all fluid levels.
• Execute preventive maintenance (oil change, tire rotation) per manufacturer specifications.
• Repair and replace tires and wearable parts such as bulbs and wipers.
• Maintain vehicle repair history by documenting a repair order (RO) accurately.
• Adhere to part and inventory tracking procedures.
• Provide safe and reliable vehicles upon completion of all services.
• Process new fleet, fuel reclamation, or buy‑back activities as needed.
• Follow proper procedures to comply with all health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Maintain a safe, clean work area and comply with uniform and equipment standards.
• Seek to improve job performance through self‑assessment, skill development, training, and goal setting.
• Maintain a regular and reliable level of attendance and punctuality.
• Perform miscellaneous job‑related duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• Valid driver’s license with no more than two moving violations and/or at‑fault accidents within the past three years, and no drug or alcohol related convictions within the past three years (DUI/DWI).
• Authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must complete a pre‑employment drug test and be subject to random drug and alcohol testing.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
