Membership Business Retention Specialist

On Target Earnings: $35,360 - $100,000

Location: West Plains, MO - Onsite

The Membership Business Retention Specialist is responsible for managing and maintaining business accounts to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and exceptional customer service throughout the entire account lifecycle. This role requires strong collaboration with internal teams and proactive problem‑solving to support business retention and growth.

Responsibilities:
  • The Membership Business Retention Specialist will oversee assigned business accounts, handling their day‑to‑day membership issues including the management of member information – via phone, email correspondence, and online.
  • Monitor account status and take corrective action when issues arise.
  • Work closely with the processing team, business team and membership sales managers to ensure smooth account setup and maintenance.
  • Respond to inbound phone calls and inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
  • Consistently provide members with exceptional customer service.
  • Contribute to a team effort to meet or exceed service, production, and quality goals.
  • Meet and exceed daily, weekly, and monthly performance goals.
  • Provide clear, accurate information and support to members to ensure satisfaction and retention.
A Successful Retention Specialist has:
  • Great customer service experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams.
  • Problem‑solving mindset and attention to detail.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Minimum Required Qualifications:
  • High school diploma, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 1 year of customer service experience.
