Ozark Action, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Teacher at the Willow Springs Head Start Center in Willow Springs, Missouri. Interested applicants may apply online by using the link below or pick up an application at any OAI location.

Teacher I (Rg 12) $17.30 per hour (Credentialed Staff); or

Teacher II (Rg 11) $18.37 per hour (Credentialed Staff); or

Teacher III (Rg 10) $19.46 per hour (Credentialed Staff)

* Uncredentialed staff would start at Range 13– $16.21 per hour*

To promote the social, emotional, and educational development of children and to provide support and guidance to parents and families to integrate classroom activities with home activities and to assist families in meeting the ongoing needs of the children. To provide direction to classroom support staff.

Teacher I—Associates Degree in early childhood or equivalent coursework.

Teacher II—Bachelor’s Degree in early childhood or equivalent coursework.

Teacher III—Master’s Degree in early childhood or equivalent coursework.

Equivalent coursework is college coursework approved by the Director Head Start that meets or exceeds Head Start Performance Standards.

• Meet established child development outcomes; ability to stand, sit, crawl, climb, kneel, walk, carry, balance, stoop, see, hear, talk, and lift.
• Ensure compliance with program regulations and standards;
  Maintain accurate records and documentation;
• Contribute to team effort;
• Promote the Head Start program;
• Develop professional and technical knowledge.
