Responsibilities- Maintains financial system accountability and manages all financial functions of Ozark Action, Inc.
- Ensures accuracy of financial system and agency policies, internal controls and financial systems in compliance with law and funding source regulations.
- Achieves component program objectives in establishing, reporting, and meeting agency and programmatic objectives.
- Guides financial management decisions by forecasting, communicating, and documenting information to aid operations.
- Maintains current financial system, complies with regulatory requirements.
- Provides leadership, protects financial assets, ensures fiscal integrity.
- Assists director with property management accuracy and accountability.
- Anticipates and prepares information for funding source, legislative, media, community, citizen, Board and Policy Council.
- Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and OMB Circulars applicable to fiscal requirements of a not‑for‑profit organization.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Certification in Public Accounting (or equivalent).
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a highly responsible, accountable computerized financial management role or management/director position supervising staff.
- Minimum of 2 years in‑charge or direct financial management experience preferred; equivalent advanced education may substitute.
- Experience with financial software system operation; all aspects of financial system methods and requirements.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
West Plains Central Office; serving Douglas, Howell, Oregon, Ozark, Texas, and Wright Counties.
BenefitsBusiness Casual Attire; 20–30 hours per week; 35h/wk full-time depends on location. Office located in West Plains, Missouri.
