• Ability to float to other departments as needed

Description:

Locals are not accepted.

There is a 60-mile radius restriction, with no exceptions.

First-time travelers are preferred to have travel experience, but candidate experience will be reviewed.

The electronic medical record system used is Expanse.

Contract length is for 13 weeks.

Shifts are 3x12-hour nights from 19:00 to 07:00.Weekends are required.

Call is not required.

Floating is required with an open float policy.

Nurses may work as helping hands if floated.

It is rare for a staff member to be floated.

The unit scrub color is navy.

Keep requests for time off to a minimum; avoid calendar week off requests during the assignment.

Any time off must be approved before the start of the assignment.

Expect to work some holidays.

Nurses may be required to float to another department as helping hands or take a patient assignment.

Floating nurses will not be required to care for patients outside of their established competency.
