Assembler, Manufacturing ​/ Production

The role of Assembler involves preparing products for assembly, assembling components, performing inspections, and ensuring a safe work environment.

• Perform basic assembly functions, including preparation of products for assembly, mechanical harness, cable, printed circuit board sub‑assemblies, spray application, and visual inspection of products or sub‑assemblies using work instructions, models, and/or drawings.
• Assemble simple hardware components such as screws, washers, and nuts, with basic understanding of build documentation.
• Conduct pull‑tests, verify tooling, and use hand tools and torque wrenches.
• Interpret work instructions and assemble multiple units in an assembly process.
• Perform basic troubleshooting.
• Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to all safety procedures, including those governing the handling of materials, chemicals, tools, and equipment.
• Operate basic hand tools and pneumatic tools.
• Read and interpret manufacturing documentation, including routers, parts lists, and work instructions.
• Perform specialized manufacturing duties as required, such as wire prep, auto bond, and sleeving.
• Support, communicate, reinforce, and defend the mission, values, and culture of the organization.

• High school diploma or GED.
