Accounting Assistant Manager - Manufacturing

Our client is an established manufacturing company seeking an experienced accounting professional to support financial reporting, budgeting, and day-to-day accounting operations.

The Accounting Assistant Manager will oversee key accounting functions, support month-end and year-end closing, prepare financial reports, and assist with budgeting and financial analysis. This role will supervise a small team and work closely with the Finance Manager and CFO to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

• Prepare journal entries, financial statements, tax provision schedules, and reporting packages.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes.
• Lead annual budgeting and forecasting and analyze labor costs and operating expenses.
• Reconcile intercompany transactions and outstanding accounts payable and receivable.
• Coordinate inventory counts and support internal and external audits.
• Manage and mentor a team of approximately two employees.
• Collaborate across departments to improve financial reporting accuracy and efficiency.
• Support the Finance Manager and CFO with special projects and financial analysis.
