Fitness Instructor - Abbotts Creek Community Center

Overview

Assess population served, teach classes, share relevant wellness information, and coordinate services with others on the wellness team. • Assesses and monitors the physical condition of the population to be served.
• Teaches classes and/or supervises and monitors exercise programs based on established protocol to ensure safety.
• Disseminates educational materials to participants as appropriate.
• Provides member service through interaction with members regularly.

High School Diploma or Equivalent: A high school diploma or GED is the standard entry-level requirement. Earning a certification from a reputable organization demonstrates your knowledge and skills in fitness instruction.

Activities occur inside and outside.

Physical Requirements:

Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
