Do you excel at spotting risk before it becomes an incident? Can you translate OSHA requirements into field-ready practices? If yes, you might be the Heavy Highway & Civil Safety Compliance Manager we’re looking for.
Your mission
How will you ensure compliance? By actively monitoring jobsites to verify alignment with OSHA and company standards
How do we learn and improve? Through thorough inspections, audits, and incident investigations you lead
How do crews stay sharp? With engaging training and toolbox talks you design and deliver
How do plans stay current? By building and updating site-specific safety plans (SSSPs) alongside project teams
How do we prove performance? With complete and accurate documentation, logs, and reports
How do hazards get controlled? By collaborating with operations to identify exposures and implement mitigations
What it takes5+ years in construction safety; heavy civil experience strongly preferred
Strong command of OSHA regulations and construction safety best practices
Plus factors: OSHA 30, First Aid/CPR, CHST or similar credentials
Influential communicator with leadership presence in the field
Comfort traveling to multiple regional jobsites as needs shift
