Assistant Project Manager

The Assistant Project Manager supports the Project Manager and Operations team in planning, executing, and monitoring construction projects. This role involves tracking project progress, coordinating with field staff and subcontractors, assisting with budgeting and procurement, and ensuring safety and quality standards are met throughout the project lifecycle.

• Support the project manager
• Information management (operations processes)

• Assist in managing project teams, tracking progress, and ensuring quality control throughout the project lifecycle
• Work with the supervisor to develop project plans, including scope, goals, deliverables, resources, budget, and timeline
• Monitor and manage project scope, ensuring changes are documented and approved
• Track project progress, provide regular status reports, and communicate with stakeholders
• Collaborate with Keiter field supervisors, staff, subcontractors, and vendors to facilitate project progress
• Review and interpret plans and specifications to ensure proper execution
• Organize and lead progress meetings with internal teams, clients, architects, and other stakeholders
• Assist with procurement, scheduling, and coordination of materials and resources.
• Oversee project budgets and financials, including preparing invoices, estimates, and procurement documentation
• Conduct site inspections to ensure safety compliance and eliminate potential hazards.
• Ensure adherence to safety regulations and company policies
• Support project administration, including RFIs, meeting minutes, and daily logs
• Act as a key team member to maintain workflow, meet deadlines, and uphold quality standards

• Valid driver’s license
• Massachusetts Construction Supervisors License (CSL)-optional

Undergraduate Degree in Building or Construction Management is preferred

• Prior experience in project management teams or administrative roles
• Experience with construction management and accounting systems preferred

• Occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds
• Regularly required to sit, talk, listen, walk, stand, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, or crawl
• Use hands and fingers to operate tools and other business machines
