Talent Wealth Recruiting, a boutique financial services recruiting firm, is recruiting for an exciting opportunity at an independent wealth management practice based in West Springfield, MA. The role is to serve as a junior advisor working directly with a Financial Advisor (FA) in a practice focused on comprehensive wealth management.

Base Pay Range

$75,000.00/yr - $85,000.00/yr

Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain ongoing professional relationships with clients; understand client goals, tolerance for risk and financial situation
  • Assist in delivery of goals-based financial planning solutions for clients
  • Review and monitor client progress towards goals and milestones in accordance with the financial plan
  • Work collaboratively with FA to manage and monitor client portfolios in accordance with stated goals, objectives, risk tolerance and team investment discipline
  • Rebalance portfolios on a periodic basis to maintain stated allocation targets
  • Achieve and maintain a solid understanding of all product categories such as managed accounts, complicated retirement accounts, and annuities and understand their impact on a client’s portfolio
  • Perform additional duties and special projects as necessary, including solving problems in client accounts, processing paperwork, taking unsolicited orders and preparing correspondence
Qualifications
  • 4+ years of experience in financial services or wealth management
  • Successful completion of the Series 7 and Series 66 exams or the ability to do so within six months
  • Knowledge of the securities industry, its operations and its products to include stocks, bonds, mutual funds/ETFs, annuities, various retirement plans (IRAs, Simple, Roth), etc.
  • Ability to analyze portfolios and select appropriate investments for clients
  • Understanding of financial planning concepts
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships and handle multiple and complex client situations
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to independently manage multiple demands and competing priorities
