West Springfield Police Department is now hiring police officers. Applicants must pass the Massachusetts Chiefs of Police Association Witten Examination and CHIP Fitness Test based on MPTC standards. Requirements include U.S.
citizenship, 21+ by the Academy completion, valid driver’s license, high school diploma or equivalent, and MA LTC eligibility. Residency within MA or CT (within 15 miles of West Springfield) is required, with prohibitions on head/neck/hand tattoos.
