Job Overview
Plasma Donor Screener & Phlebotomist – work in a Plasma Donation Center supporting donor screening, phlebotomy, and operational processes.
AboutThe Role
You will report to the Plasma Center Manager and perform duties as a donor screener and phlebotomist to support plasma center operations.
Responsibilities- Answer phones, greet donors, and ensure donor safety.
- Screen new and repeat donors; take and record vital signs and finger-stick results.
- Use the Donor Information System, prepare donor charts, maintain accurate records, and coordinate donor compensation.
- Identify operational opportunities for continuous improvement and initiate changes to center processes using company‑approved procedures.
- Support donors during a variety of shifts, including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to walk, stand, lean, bend, stoop, crouch, reach above shoulders, and reach below knees for the entire shift.
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to lift up to 5 lbs.; occasional lifting of up to 32 lbs., rarely up to 50 lbs.
- Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to hear equipment from a distance.
- Exposure to blood borne pathogens (risk level
1); capable of prolonged glove wear. - At least one year of experience in a customer or patient‑facing role.
U.S. starting hourly wage: $18.00.
