Responsibilities- Install, inspect, test, and maintain special‑hazard fire suppression systems, including clean‑agent (FM‑200, Novec 1230), CO₂, foam, water‑mist, and explosion suppression or detection systems.
- Verify proper system operation through functional and acceptance testing.
- Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshoot system issues or deficiencies.
- Ensure all work complies with applicable NFPA codes (e.g., NFPA 2001, 12, 750), local regulations, and company standards.
- Work closely with project managers, foremen, and other trades on‑site to support successful project execution.
- Document inspections, maintenance, and service activities in accordance with company and client requirements.
- Represent Encore professionally when interacting with customers, directly and indirectly.
- Past experience in fire suppression required.
- Comfortable working at heights and able to lift at least 50 lbs.
- MA CC‑47 Engineer Systems certification required.
- MA CC‑48 Pre‑Engineered Fixed Systems certification preferred.
- MA CC‑46 Portable Fire Extinguishers certification preferred.
- MA CC‑41 Self‑Serve Facilities certification preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within Rhode Island.
