Pacific Rail Services is looking for Driver Laborers to join our team at the West Springfield, MA Railyard. This is a recession-proof, essential job with long-term stability and great earning potential. No experience? No problem! We’ll train you on everything you need to succeed.
Curious what the job looks like?
- Operate a jockey truck to maneuver 53ft trailers, containers, and chassis within the yard.
- Perform ground duties including climbing railcars, managing track locks, and handling Inner Box Connectors (IBCs).
- Assist in loading/unloading equipment with packer operators using hand signals.
- Participate in stacking/unstacking chassis and managing chassis racks.
- Other tasks as assigned.
- The position includes the duties of both a Hostler Driver & a Ground Person.
- Starting Pay: $19/hr.
- After Training: $20/hr (typically after 2–3 months).
- Annual Earnings: $50,000–$65,000 with overtime.

Day & Night shifts available (10–12 hour days, up to 6 days/week).
