Role and ResponsibilitiesThe Scheduler will complete routine and non-routine activities to prepare project schedules. Responsibilities include drafting, updating, and reviewing project schedules. The position may require travel across the U.S. and supports Hunt Electric's strategy, vision, and values.
- Develop, receive, analyze, and communicate general contractor (GC) schedules.
- Collaborate with the GC's scheduling representative to develop the electrical construction schedule’s WBS, activities, logic, and sequence.
- Manage initial and updated schedules for all awarded work, including GMP communication.
- Analyze schedules for feasibility and provide feedback.
- Identify and communicate milestone changes and schedule impacts.
- Monitor and communicate ROJ dates for equipment based on schedule flow.
- Create and maintain internal schedule models using P6 and other tools.
- Develop milestones, activities, and relationships based on logical sequencing.
- Maintain schedules by analyzing actual durations and project impacts.
- Coordinate with project teams through meetings and documentation.
- Participate in lean construction processes and pull planning sessions.
- Ensure effective communication and coordination with all stakeholders.
Compensation ranges from $110,000 to $140,000 plus bonuses, benefits, and employee ownership. Exact pay depends on skills, experience, and location. Visit our website for more details.
Qualifications and Education- High School Diploma or equivalent required;
Bachelor's degree preferred. - Knowledge of electrical materials, methods, and tools.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Understanding of contract and scope of work.
- Willingness to travel up to 25%.
- Proficiency in scheduling software, especially P6.
- Ability to identify scheduling issues and opportunities for improvement.
- Knowledge of mission-critical construction and lean processes.
- Strong team collaboration skills.
- Work may involve exposure to mechanical parts, noise, and protective gear in industrial sites.
- Office work includes standard equipment usage; physical movement such as sitting, kneeling, and lifting up to 25 pounds may be required.
