Overview
Vivie is seeking a Server to provide exceptional dining service at our senior living facility. This part‑time role supports residents by ensuring a clean, welcoming dining environment, assisting with meal selections, and fostering meaningful connections among residents and staff.
Schedule & PaySchedule:
4pm to 7:30pm, 5–6 shifts per pay period, including every other weekend. Hourly pay ranges from $15.10 to $18.50 per hour (hourly non‑exempt), based on qualifications, experience, and location. Comprehensive benefits include health coverage, flexible scheduling, and opportunities for growth.
- Provide exceptional dining service – assist with seating, build positive relationships with residents and guests, and help residents select their meals.
- Ensure safety and sanitation – set and clear tables, arrange seating, and maintain the cleanliness and condition of all flatware and glassware. Perform dishwashing and organize clean dishes in designated areas. Maintain dining and kitchen areas through vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping while adhering to safety and infection control procedures.
- Communicate effectively – proactively communicate with residents and team members.
- Other duties as assigned – participate in special projects, assist in other areas of the building, and attend in‑service training sessions and team meetings as required.
- Strong collaboration and teamwork skills.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Previous experience in dining services, food handling, or customer service is preferred but not required.
- Ability to follow emergency protocols.
- Proficiency in English for effective communication with staff, clients, and visitors.
- Successful completion of a state‑mandated background check.
