** Job Description
** The Property Accountant will be responsible for the recording and accounting of financial transactions for the above-mentioned entities and their operations. The Property Accountant is also responsible for assisting in the preparation and analysis of the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for their assigned entities. In addition, the position is responsible to assist with planning, budgeting, and financial forecasting and analysis.
** General Ledger and Accounting Responsibilities:
*** Ensure accounts are balanced and accurate
* Prepare monthly financial statements
* Oversee invoice coding for accuracy
* Maintain work papers for financial information
* Assist in preparation of annual budgets
* Work directly with onsite managerial staff
* Reviews tenant delinquencies and helps formulate resolutions with management
* Answer internal and external inquiries
* Ensure adequate funding for taxes, operational and capital expenditures
* Monitory and ensure debt service payments are made
* Performs tenant ledger maintenance as required per lease agreement
* Perform other tasks as requested by Senior staff

* Qualifications:

*** Ability to work as full-time, general business hours, Monday thru Friday
* Degree in Accounting or related field or work equivalent
* Knowledge of Excel and Database management preferable
