Customer Service Representative

Location: West Valley City, UT

Employment Type: Full-time

Shift: 7:00 am - 5:00 pm (Monday - Thursday)

Job Description: Silencer Co is looking for a Customer Service Representative to join our Customer Service Team. You will provide product information and resolve any emerging problems that customers might face with accuracy and efficiency. The target is to ensure excellent service standards and maintain high customer satisfaction. If you are an expert discussing firearms, enjoy helping people in customer service, take ownership in your work, and thrive in a fast‑paced environment, this could be the perfect opportunity.

Reporting: This position reports to the Customer Service Manager.

Job Responsibilities
  • Field large volumes of incoming calls and emails.
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries.
  • Identify and assess customer needs to achieve satisfaction.
  • Provide information about products and services.
  • Create RMAs for exchanges and warranty items.
  • Document consumer inquiries and actions taken.
  • Communicate and coordinate with colleagues as necessary.
  • Prepare product or service reports by collecting and analyzing customer information.
  • Assist walk‑in customers.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and provide professional customer support.
  • Process orders.
Job Qualifications
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Customer‑service skills: ability to answer questions and complaints in a helpful, engaged and professional manner.
  • Interpersonal skills: ability to listen carefully and remain patient and polite, especially with challenging customers.
  • Problem‑solving skills: determine solutions, think outside the box, remain flexible.
  • Knowledge of Silencer Co product line is a huge plus.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong working knowledge of firearms.
  • Ability to work weekends as needed.
