We have an opening for a R&D Project Manager to join our Research and Development team in Salt Lake City, Utah. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside a passionate, hard‑working engineering team focused on developing innovative products that make a meaningful impact on human mobility. The ideal candidate is an enthusiastic project leader with a strong technical foundation and a comprehensive understanding of the product development lifecycle, from early concept through manufacturing and product launch.
Duties & Responsibilities- Leadership of cross functional product development project teams, from the early conceptualization phase all the way into transfer to production and product market launch.
- Ability to quickly gain the appropriate technical knowledge within assigned projects in order to be effective in leading engineering discussions and making project decisions.
- Ownership of project from start to finish including all milestones and deliverables.
- Utilization the Ottobock Product Development Process, and insuring compliance on assigned projects.
- Formulation, tracking, and optimization of project scope, schedules, budgets, and resources.
- Creation of medical device Design History Files.
- Production and presentation of project status to various stakeholders within the company.
- Driven for continued improvements within area of influence.
- Other duties as assigned.
